Our Journey

1990

The foundation of Cermet was laid in a 300 sq.ft shed, where the journey started with the manufacturing of Carbon Composition resistors.

1992

Started manufacturing of thick film high voltage resistors for capacitor discharge application.

1996

Cermet moved to a bigger setup

1998

Introduction of new products (wire wound resistors and flat thick film resistors)

2000

Cermet started exporting their products

2007

Moved to a big manufacturing setup (our existing one)

2010

Cermet implemented automation and increased its production capacity. Additionally, it introduced power resistors into its product portfolio.

2020

Cermet began exporting its products to USA and UK, marking a significant milestone, while simultaneously expanding its manufacturing capacity for wire wound resistors.

2023

Third-generation entrepreneur joined the business. Cermet acquired adjacent land for future projects, introduced 3 new products, and transitioned to fully solar-powered factory.
